What Lucky Dip is
Lucky Dip is a free entertainment tool that generates random number combinations for popular lottery formats. That's the whole product. It doesn't sell tickets, doesn't enter you into any draw, doesn't handle money, and doesn't connect to any lottery in any way.
No guarantee of winning
This is the important one, so it's early. The numbers Lucky Dip produces are pseudo-random and generated purely for entertainment. In a fair draw every combination is exactly as likely as every other, which means this site cannot and does not improve your chance of winning anything. No generator, system, pattern, hot-number list or strategy can — including this one.
Lucky Dip is not certified gaming equipment, is not audited by any gambling regulator, and its output is not suitable for cryptographic or security purposes. Treat it as a nicer version of closing your eyes and pointing at the grid.
Not affiliated with any lottery
Lucky Dip is an independent site run by one person. It has no connection to, sponsorship from or endorsement by Allwyn, The National Lottery, the Multi-State Lottery Association, Mega Millions, Powerball, EuroJackpot, EuroMillions or any other lottery operator or regulator. Game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe which format a set of numbers is for.
Any information about a game on this site is provided for reference. Always confirm prices, draw times, rules and prizes with the official operator before you play.
Accuracy of information
I take reasonable care with the game guides and each one carries the date it was last checked against the operator's own site. Even so, rules change, ticket prices go up, prize tiers get restructured and odds shift — Lotto changed format in June 2026 and Mega Millions in April 2025, to pick two recent examples. Nothing here is warranted to be current, complete or free of errors, and it isn't financial, legal or gambling advice. If you spot a mistake, tell me and I'll fix it.
Age restriction
You must be 18 or over to use this site, in line with UK National Lottery rules. If you're under 18, please don't use it.
Your responsibility when gambling
Whether and how much you gamble is entirely your decision and your responsibility. Only ever stake what you can comfortably afford to lose, and never chase losses. If it's stopped being fun, the responsible gambling page lists free, confidential UK support — it's worth reading before things feel urgent rather than after.
User-submitted content (Winner Stories)
You can submit a short story about a win through the Winner Stories feature on the homepage. Unlike the rest of the site, this does send data to a server, where submissions are stored pending review. By submitting one you confirm that:
- It's your own story and it's truthful.
- It contains nothing unlawful, defamatory, offensive or discriminatory.
- It doesn't identify anyone else or reveal personal details about them.
- You give permission for it to be displayed publicly on this site.
Every submission is moderated by a human before it appears, and may be edited for length or clarity, or rejected without explanation. Publication is never guaranteed. Please do not submit personal or financial details — no addresses, phone numbers, ticket numbers, account details or anything else you wouldn't want a stranger reading. The optional name and game fields are the only identifying information asked for, and a first name is plenty.
If you want a story you submitted taken down, email hello@luckydip.me and I'll remove it. You don't need to give a reason.
Availability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". It's a personal project on modest hosting: it may go offline, slow down, change, lose features or be withdrawn entirely, at any time and without notice. There's no uptime promise and no obligation to keep anything running.
Limitation of liability
Lucky Dip is free and provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Mark Fensom is not liable for any loss you suffer through using this site — including gambling losses, losses arising from information here being out of date or wrong, or losses from the site being unavailable when you wanted it. You use the numbers it generates at your own choice and risk.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be excluded. If you're a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Advertising and external links
The site carries advertising through Google AdSense to cover hosting and the domain, and there's an optional Ko-fi link if you'd like to support it. Ads and any external links are not endorsements — I have no control over the content, accuracy or privacy practices of other sites, and visiting them is at your own risk. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time — usually because a feature changed. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
